ID Help please...

hey guys, i went out earlier, about 6 or 7 hours ago on my first hunting trip. i went to a woodland nearby my house, and stumbled upon these beauties which i was pretty certain were not poisonous?
they were growing in just general woodland soil, the 2 big ones together and then a short walk away the rest of the smaller ones in a group.

I've got a cap waiting for the spores to come out on the very paper in the pictures below, i'll post a pic of it up soon if necessary.

anyone have any ideas?

You'll need to include at least the general information (location, description, spore print color) required for an ID and better pictures with the light on would help.

i know, apoligies, the light is actually on believe it or not, my camera just seems to be on one. i've took a few more holding them directly under my ceiling light, can't really get a decent spore print but it's definitely a dark color, i'd say a dark purple to even black? more pics are below:

Please post the required information as outlined in the rules thread if you want an ID. From those pics though, it looks like an inactive Psathyrella. Is the stem real snappy?

yeah, right on my friend. it'll REALLY slightly bend then boom.

sorry about the info (or lack of it as it were), like i said i'm new to this game and that was all the info i really had that i was sure of.

ima go throw these in the trash then methinks, i'll go out again this week & look for some more, i guess i need to read up even more, i can't seem to grasp it haha.

there didn't seem to be hardly any out yet round here (Cheshire, NW England) in honesty, these were pretty much all i found except for a small group of i don't know what, except i'm positive they were poisonous from what i've read up, so i left them be. thanks alot for your help though.

No problem.  Keep looking.  It's a fun hobby and you'll be surprised how much you'll learn.  Pick yourself up a good field guide, and read this site and others and you'll be a pro in no time (like 10 years or so :grin:)
