HBWR LSA Blotter - How well does it need to be extracted?

Say someone desired to isolate the LSA and other Ergot alkaloids as best as possible for the purpose of laying blotter/sugar cubes etc.

There is the simple non-polar / polar extraction but what does that leave mixed in with your desired alkaloids? Are plant fats and whatever an issue here? Would one desire to defat the substance?

lsa is probably potent enough, several milligrams can fit on a blotter hit.

you would need to refine your product and get it as clean and potent as possible though, and you'd have to have a ton and ton and ton and ton and ton of seeds if you are planning on laying sheets, which i would guess would be real inefficient.

and also pretty illegal.

Potency aside, you are not likely going to isolate it from the other alkaloids well enough to get anything remotely resembling crystal. Goop, if you're lucky, and it'll likely give more stomach issues than positive effects (a trend I see in people's extracts), and be impossible to absorb onto paper (or anything) well.

mmm LSA is definetly potent enough to lay blotter with.

I've done enough extracts to know how not to end up with a gooey mess at the end.

I've heard the oppossite, that just chewing the seeds is far far worse than removing the cyanogenic glucosides first

Would probably be better off doing an extract then storing it in gel caps instead of on blotter.

the polar/nonpolar extraction when left in the ethyl alcohol solvent for drinking sounds like it leaves a very good quality product, some describe as being superior to LSD....

but i'm not sure if you can lay alcohol on blotter since it would evaporate.... wouldn't it?

as to why blotter vs either tincture or goo, i'm not sure.

how bad of a smell does the petroleum ether leave while doing the extraction, is superior ventilation required?

The solvent is supposed to evaporate when laying something to paper.

Leery even though you can't see it those LSA alkaloids are actually solids so when it dries onto the paper all the LSA is on the paper.

Where are all the master chemists?  I'm just a novice...  I really need to know about this :smile:

actualy its quite easy, though ive only seen it done on binder paper LOL

you "technicaly" could get a glass baking dish with your iso/lsa mixture, and evaporate with a sheet of paper of your choice in there. they sell perforating supplies at officemax, walmart. I forget the dimensions for a dose, you would have to start small and find out for yourself.

I have had plenty of college chemistry. If you extract to a mixture of alcohol (solvent) and goodies (seed extract~lsa), you can soak paper or anything absorbent with it to deposit the goodies.

How this works is the volatile alcohol molecules at the surface of the paper have a high enough vapor pressure to turn to gas and float away. These alcohol gas molecules are what you smell when you sniff rubbing alcohol or hard alcohol. Your smelling the gas phase isopropanol or ethanol.

So the highly volatile alcohol molecules turn fairly rapidly to gas and float away, leaving the nonvolitile dissolved goodies. As the solvent dissappears, they stick to whats left, the paper fibers. It is thus stored very well and efficiently.

Dont get highly concentrated alcohol+goodie mixtures get on your skin, as the alcohol makes it more permeable to the chemicals and you can easily get a unwanted half trip. The most efficient way to do this is to slowly drip solution onto the top of a sheet until entirely saturated, then let dry. Try to avoid air currents that will cause conecntration variations. Another way to do this is to use single drops on each square.

Now if only I could get my hands on some crystal or liquid.

I just drink my extractions and I do them with bacardi 150, and I trip really good. Ive done 1000 seeds before (extracted) and the whole experiance was very amazing, very LSD like but its a whole nother drug.

It should be posible to absorb lsa in blotter papper by using lsa desolved in a small amount of alcohol, then alow the alcohol to dry. But you have to do this in a mannor not alowing any of the alcohol to drip or smear on anything.

The problem is a single blotter paper wil only hold 2mg of lsd, far less is needed for a heavy dose of lsd. But the question is how much lsa do you nead for a heavy trip? well hawaiian baby woodrose contains approximately 3 mg of alkaloidal material per gram of seed. Approximately one-eighth of this is lysergamide. So basicly yeah you can do it.

If done properly, I would assume that doses would go like this:
1 tab - threshold/mild effect
2 tab - Mild to 'Common dose'
3 tab - Common to strong dose
4 tabs - strong dose

Hope thats helps, but I don't know why you would want to do this. If your trying to sell the tabs, I wouldn't do it. Chancese are you wouldn't come up on top, and it is illegal to prosses and sell LSA.

If you just want to try a new easy way of taking lsa then there's no need to go to this trouble. It's really as easy as buying 50 seeds, grinding them up fine, then dampaning the seed grind with a lemon juice vodka 50/50 mix. Put the moist seeds in a tin and proseed to use the mush as a 'chew', holding wads of it between your cheak and jaw for 25min at a time. Spit it out and repeat with a fresh wad. 50 seeds should be enough for as many as 4 people to trip heavely.
