So someone hit my car tonight...

Ok...

I was parked at taco bueno and was with my two best friends, there were also these other 2 people we knew who we were talking to. One of the people we were talking to went outside to make a phone call, and these two black ladies went outside, [leaving taco bueno] and a couple seconds later i walkd outside to get my wallet from my car and the guy i knew said do u drive that black mustang ... and I said yes.

He told me the two black ladies SMASHEd into the back of my mustang and got out, looked as he was telling me, they drove off.

I chased them on foot screaming and they hit the gas and took the fuck off.

Two different people took down their license plate ... One mentally and kept repeating it, and the other person [completely independent of each other] wrote it down on paper. I got it from both, and it matched

There were 4 witnesses, all of whom I got their phone numbers and information.

I called 911 and reported it, they sent a cop to come file a police report [ it took a fucking 1.5 hour for them to get there] and I gave them all the witnesses #'s, names, AND THE LICENSE plate number.

They ran it on their computer thing and it came back as... nothing.. no existing plate. I also gave them the make, type and description of the two people AND they have camera's in taco bueno [where the ladies were eating] WITH their faces and shit on it

So basically, what they said is there is nothing they can do about it unless I can come up with proper plates and identify them from a lineup... which doesn't make any fucking sense

And they said they can't get the video from taco bueno, b/c it's not a "serious" enough event... which maybe true, I was just pissed they fucking ran off, the damage isn't even THAT bad... but I dunno

So basically, the cops just said you're screwed and you have to eat the bill unless we just, run into these people by coincidence... and he also tried all variations of 2's and Z's and B's and 3's for the license #, and nothing came back...

I mean, is ther eAnything I can do?

yea, get the fucking taco bell surveillance tape. i didnt know there was a degree of breaking the law. those pigs were just bsing and being lazy.

The taco bell surveillance tape won't do me any good.. I saw them anyway I they just said they can't get it without some kind of legal mumbo jumbo, they gotta serve them papers or something.. a records act or some shit

more than likely if they are from the area they will be back.
unless the cop got them, get the witnesses phone numbers.
when you catch them call the cops and witnesses and take it from there.
hopefully someone does onto them as they did you.

I have the witnesses phone numbers, the problem is the fuckers said they can't do anything...

And it was taco bueno =P i said taco bell haha

well you know the city they live in and the color and make of the car.

you should have a rough idea of the year as well.

you know they live within 20 mins of taco bell.

you should also know they don't plan to go back to taco bell within the next 5-10 days unless there compelely stupid....so camp out there the next 5-10 days :smile:

since they hit the car, there's must be damaged.

if they are using false plates then they must be into something big....therefore go down to the police station to morrow and bring this point up...then tell them to do there fucking job or give you access to there computers so you can do it for them.

what you need is a list of everyone in your city who drives a car of this make and this color between this and this year...and there's not that many black mustanges......

then go threw this list and start with the closest ones to taco bell.

if the police deny you access to there records and deny that its there problem tell them you will go to the papers, mayor, and then lawyers....it was a hit and run, a crime was commited!!  think about it could be a KID that gets hit next.....its all about kids right??

You should have told them the 'ladies' were smoking a blunt. That would have brought down the FBI and God himself to make sure they get the video tapes and toss those evil weed smokers in jail.

Fucking up your car isn't nearly important enough for a cop to drop the donut and do his job.  :thumbdown:

fuckin pigs. You gotta get their badge numbers and then do as makaveli8x8 said (specially the part about goin to the papers etc if the cops cant be bothered to do the lil research).

A hit and run with unregistered vehicles and the cops cant be fucked.... typical isnt it?  :cuss:

In my state the cops won't even respond to a vehicular accident on private property such as a parking lot unless someone is injured. They say they can't do anything because it's private property so around here when fender benders happen you're fucked no matter what.

that just sounds like a cop out.

i thought it was law that if there's an accident you report it and the cops must come and do a report, and then well from there they are sopposed to track criminals?? im always a bit fuzzy on that last part anyways.
