Bandaids

I just realized we have no micropore tape in the house :frown: This wouldn't be a problem except I noticed that on my LC jars, the gauge needles I'm using with my syringes are making a hole which isn't sealing properly. I want to cover the innoc port for shaking. Will bandaids work ok? I know they're supposed to be breathable, but breathable enough?
