anyone ever attempted use one of those family finder sites? Did you have any success? What I want to do is finding my great great great grandparents and find all of their living descendants.

my mother is really big into geneaology and was able to trace our family back to a man in 15th century finland using a couple of those websites. So yes I would say it could be helpful in finding great grandparents.

with living descendants I've had no experience

thanks looks like I'm going to have some research to do. I guess the best thing I can do initially is just start calling up family members.
