Anyone know how long it retains its potency?

Mescaline is a very stable chemical so as long as you keep it away from pro longed excessive heat and out of the sun and UV lights you shouldn't worry about loosing any potency. I heard something about >1000 year old peyote buttons that were still active

The potency isn't going to go away, as others mentioned. The stuff will go bad and ferment in tea form though, so you can stick it in the fridge for probably up to a week max. Any longer would require freezing. Or just make it when you're going to take the stuff.

PS: Don't cross post.

You should make it clear that you mean the freezer.

Don't want some poor guy thinking it'll last that long in the fridge. It won't.
