Pulled on Friday. I got nitrous, lidocaine and percocet.

I have to get mine cut out pretty soon here.

I know I'm getting knocked out for it. But I hope I get some goodies afterwards.

Ouch, I had mine taken out when I was only like 16 or so.
They had to do surgery on my gums to cut them open, pull the teeth out, and I had dissolving stitches put in to sew them up. All 4 teeth were taken.
I received a Valium injection before the procedure - I felt more fucked up than I have ever in my life from that shot.
They also injected something else, but the combo made me unconscious as planned.

When I woke up I was seeing double and felt wasted for the whole day. I got a nice morphine script from it too. :grin:

only thing that made me nervous about it was that they said there was a 10% chance that I would lose my sense of taste during the operation. I didn't though of course.

Everything healed up fine.

I'm so glad that my jaws have enough room for me to keep my wisdom teeth. No painful surgery for Konnrade! :laugh:

Mine actually didn't hurt at all, it helped with the overcrowding and I got some nice scripts to go along with it. :shrug:

my jaw had enough room, I had them in for 7-8 years, fully exposed and straight. Recently my jaw muscles started hurting and I was getting headaches. Too much chewing with big teeth, far back in the mouth, like using a short lever arm to do work.

Ketamine is used often for real sedation. The nitrous got me relaxed and a little giggly. I puked Friday night, oxy plus swallowed blood.

ha yeah that was fun.. I got some sort of shot that goes along with "sedation dentristy".. i didn't ask what it was becuase I didn't want to jeopradize my vicodin script :yesnod: 

My brother drive me home, I felt wasted all day.. then my teeth started aching as I felt more and more normal :frown:

Was it a oral surgeon or dentist? I had to actually go to an oral surgeon.

my dad is a dentist/orthodontist/oral surgeon. he didn't take my teeth out. tooth extractions aren't good father-son bonding. The oral surgeon next door to his office did it (for free).

It fuckin sucked when I got mine out, but I did like the pills.

I was totally fucked up from the IV too lol.
