Spores everywhere on casing

I came home from a week vacation and had some nice fruits at full maturity and their spores flew everywhere and cover about 25% of my colonized compost. Is this going to hault future growth in those areas?
Also, for a second flush, my compost has torn away from the sides, is there anything to revive it? Can I directly mist the mycelium between flushes or should I leave it? I didn't case the compost. Thanks.

No the spores wont effect the compost.

Are you not using a casing? You should maybe patch the compost with some casing to protect any open substrate. It looses moisture after the first flush, and with a casing layer, you can keep it at its optimum level.

A layer of spores can inhibit pinning. Do a search, this has been discussed in depth recently. I can't really remember all of it. :peace:
