Is keeping a casin layer in a garbage bag ok?

I have finished my casing layer and put it in the microwave. I have a decent amount of a casing layer b/c its going on two 45 gal. monotubs. Now I dont plan to case till tomorrow but I want to put the casing layer in something to let cool and store overnight. By putting it in a fresh garbage bag could it receive contams that are hidden in the bag or should i store it some other way?
