Is America really that strict on Marijuana Use?

the more i think about it, the more i realize that the government really isnt that strict about MJ use.. like i mean, they really crack down on traffiking and huge grows.. but it seems like they dont really care too much about personal use.. atleast where im at...

usually cops just take ur weed.. sometimes they even write a citation but thats all ive ever gotten

They bust growers in CA who are legally allowed to grow by the state - I'd say that's pretty hard on pot.

Eh its a 100 dollar fine here. Last year I grew weed literally like a block from the police station. Smelled like weed in a huge radius around the apartment, I was just so whacked on shit that I found it reasonable. Im sure they knew and just didnt care.

i mean it seems like as long as ur not stupid, the cops really dont care.. i mean i sit on my porch all the time smoking a bowl, and the local smokeys just keep rolling by..

Man, you can't get any kind of decent job without taking a fucking piss test and then they fucking jam one on you if you need worker's comp. They piss test kids who wanna play football and shit. And if you get busted for weed there's all kinds of jobs you can't do ever again. America is totally fucking cuntish about weed. And in some areas people have received 20 plus years just for having marijuana with intent to sell.

They will destroy your entire life for having a harmless plant that's actually good for you if you smoke it. The laws are fucking stupid as shit, strict as hell and totally goddamn insane. Fucking legalize for fuck's sake. Christ.

I like the idea of everyone who get's high applying for as many jobs as they can that require piss tests..

Then they can go take and flunk the tests on purpose, costing that employer money for being drug testing assholes!

my brothers a cop.  And around here.. (in California)  there are quite a few cops who smoke.  But as I was saying..  my brother was telling me weed is the least of most police officers concerns.  They even let people go WITH the weed still with them.  Tho they do reserve the right to bust your ass if your a giving them an attitude (or if they're having a bad day. :wink:)

Here if you have any weed(scraps to 3 grams) at all its usually its a minimum of 1 day in jail, loose your license for max 90 days, bout $1500 in fines, then you have to go for a drug evaluation($100) ... i'm sure theres more with that..
If you have more then an 8th everything skyrockets
