Right on man, the trail dumps your directly into the gap, you can thumb a ride to the other side across the bridge to get to the NJ trail, but im pretty sure you have to make that trek down hill to reach the beginning of the nj trail.

Either way, hope you make it.  Last time i was there the lean to shelters were in good shape and the water pump still worked great.  It's an awesome luxury not to have to hike 10 or so minutes to get water, and even better that you don't have to boil or filter it. :smile:

Im a bit jealous right now heheh, ill have to hike up there when i visit home.
