WHEN TO HARVEST???
    #569984 -

Since 2/19 the cakes have been in full flush, YET the caps have not in the least extended. The salks are long, but the head remains just larger than a pinhead, or at best, like a circumcised cock (you know what I mean?).

I'm wondering -- should the mushies be harvested? Or should I wait till they look more like typcal mushrooms?

Wait until the veil breaks from the stem...I like to go about a day and a half or so after the veil has broken free...they grow a considerable amount in that day and a half. Some like to argue that the only way to go is RIGHT when the veil breaks...others wait. I choose the median.
