Sour Apple Like Smell

Ok ....there is a sour apple like smell coming from my jars. They were innoculated 7 days ago with peurto rican and ecuadorian spores and the mycelium seems to be growing like crazy taking over bigger and bigger sections of the jars everyday. Now is this smell a problem and do you think that it could just fade away as the mycelium continues to colonized the jars? I don't know if it is just one of the jars creating that smell or what. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Find the jar that has the smell. A clean mycelia jar should smell like JUST mushrooms. That sour smell you smell is contaminiants. Throw it away and get it away from your other jars as soon as possible.:)bluhoney
