telepathy
    #5609271 -

anyone ever tried it?

I communicate with people telepathically all the time. I have confirmed to myself that it has worked on a few occaisions.

sometimes though, it is hard to tell if I am really communicating with another entity or if I am just communicating with myself.

I have failed to telepathically recieve the thoughts of others correctly on many occaisions.

sometimes, there is a very real link between two people that allows them to communicate mentally. This, I have witnessed firsthand.

thus, I put forth the hypothesis that the better you know someone, the easier it is to communicate with them mentally.

be warned! some of my telepathic broadcasts are not honest! It is an unfortunate consequence of my nature.

I haven't been able to telepathically communicate, but I have had some remote viewing experiences, particularly on acid.

I'm sure telepathic links were far stronger further back down the evolutionary line; think about "group/collective awareness". It would have been incredibly useful for survival of early humans and the sort of  collective awareness shown by some tribal peoples (eg the aborigines) points to something like this being stronger in our past.

Also I think human ability to sense an atmosphere (eg walking into a room with people in it and knowing something is wrong, sensing tension) is linked to telepathy. Whether any of this will ever evolve to the extent of making full telepathic communication possible is another question... Certainly I don't think humans are currently capable of it. My opinion

So it was useful in our past, but became unuseful and therefore the people that had it died off?

Love my friends is the key to this link you are speaking of. Love someone like a brother, and the link will be there. I only have 2 or 3 people that I can link with usually, but sometimes it happens with others.

Beware though, if the link is strong(as in you love the person very much) it can be very hard to turn it off. Having someone elses thoughts running through your mind can get annoying after awhile. At the same time that is probrobly the reason love is important, because otherwise a man would crazy hearing someone think bad thoughts about him.

As far as regualar telepathy, I really havent had much experiance. THe link is about all I have experianced. peace

yes. the few times I have objectively confirmed telepathic transmission and reception was with females I was deeply in love with.

here's a crummy example, because a better example would be too personal:

Once, I was at a party. In attendance was one of my exes who I feel deep love for and connection to. At one point, she started to take her shoes off. Now, I have sort of a foot fetish, and seeing her feet kind of made me uncomfortable.

So I sent out a mental dart, kind of like a flash of directed focus in her direction. The message was: "Don't tempt me, woman."

Immeadiately after I did that, she got a really guilty look on her face, and put her shoes back on.

I have also communicated telepathically with the same girl, to the point where I was sending her images and telling her things. At the time, I wasn't sure if she was getting what I was sending. Later, I heard people talking about it because she had told them the exact things I had shown and told her with my mind!

Unfortunately, that particular transmission was a bad message that was misinterpreted, and it caused her to go out and do a bunch of dumb things. These days, I generally only try to telepathically communicate with people who are advanced enough to handle it.

dude, I know exactly what you are talking about. I've had to literally kick people out of my mind because I needed sleep or had to study.

i can tell who is calling me before i answer... often times when i 'meditate' on a subject involving someone, and think hard and come to new conclusions, i get a signal from them, and very often i recieve a physical message from them, like they're showing up at my house or calling me. it'd be interesting to here what their mental thought pattern went like before they contacted me physically or if it was completely spur of the moment.
I am a firm believer in being able to know how someone feels when they are not there by stopping thought and looking around inside for the answer, to your 'heart'. but like a few of you said, love is a major link, without it, it can be near impossible to do anything like this.

Telepathy is a natural human ability that becomes extremely weak if you don't use it(like everything else).

Also like everything else, it requires repitition(practice) in order to get better at it.

In small 3 person groups on mushrooms I have experienced wild, wild examples of telepathy.

Example 1:
I stood at a bar in my friends kitchen, tripping very hard watching him on the other side kneading bread. It was so, so very therapudic for him (being he was tripping hard too). I remember having and entire conversation about how I was able to feel the sensations he was feeling simultaneously.

We were both in awe at how we both were able to "feel" the dough. At this point, my tripping lessened a bit and I uttered a word. Out loud. It was then that I realized that the entire length (and it was quite lengthy)conversation was completley telepathic. I looked at my friend and we both went "woah" in our heads.

The strange thing about that encounter was that I had no idea I wasn't using my mouth to talk. It seemed very natural to hear my voice as well as his voice in my head.

Example 2:
Later that same evening I remember sitting in a lazy-boy style chair, just playing with "energy" between my hands, when I could hear my other friend (shes the girlfriend of the first friend) talking to herself. I then looked over at her to see that I could hear her, but she wasn't moving her mouth. I said to myself in my head, "oh my god..im am so psychic..." and at that moment she looked up at me and, smiled and nodded. I don't think she knew I hadn't said those words out loud either.

Example 3:
Another night a few weeks later, whille comming down off an enjoyable trip, I decided to play a little game. I found a deck of playing cards and had my male friend choose a random one.

I then sat opposite him (we were both still feeling "somewhat trippy") and asked him to "send" to me the color...red or black.

I then got a sudden urge to say, "black!" and when I did his eyes got wide and he nodded his head. I then said, "ok, ok...try the number now...send me the number, picture it in your head and visualize it being broadcast into my head."

Once again I felt an urge, almost like an electric shock in my nervous system and I piped up with, "Seven!"...

My friend's eyes widened again and he turned the card around. Sure enough, it was a black 7 of spades.

I'm not sure how to really convince others that these events took place, and actually happened. They seem to defy the laws of logic and physics, but they happened.

I'm not sure why I can't tap into this ability sober--but I definatley notice a sharp increase from cannabis in these abilities for a short time after it's use.

I hear clear voices in my head sometimes. Mostly late at night when i am trying to sleep. Sometimes i recognize the voices (friends) and other times i dont. Since i dont know how to make my voice sound in anyones head, I am kind of confused as to what is going on. Another thing that will happen is music will play-loud and clear in my head.

uh oh I think the CAT is out of the bag. To me it feels like negative logic. Like somebody will say something but the meaning is coded. Depending on what wavelength the OTHER is on the thoughts might all line up and come out your mouth.

I've had a few experiences with this. My ex-girlfriend and I used to leave each other 'messages', kind of like a telepathic answering machine. She could do it with her best friend, too; it was pretty weird.

Also, another of my friends and I have had a few converstaions where we weren't sure wether or not we were actually speaking to each other.

i communicate telepathically with everything. stones, plants, animals, clouds, whatever...
the most amazing thing to communicate with is infants.

i feel that it's very important for people who are telepathic to network with each other, so i hope you wanna be friends.

i also know how to open people so they are telepathic too.
if they are open to being open.

not met very many people who want to be telepathic.
it can be wonderful, but at the same time, very disturbing.
which is exactly why our brains filter out that sort of psychic connection in the first place.

i've experienced it.

one time while stoned i communicated a bit with this cellist. she was so amazingly beautiful and loving.

i could not receive, just send.

i entered someone's dream and really truely truely entered it. it was intense and real.

i've gone to sleep and had my mind enter other people's where i feel like my head is theirs..... and i hear their voice in my head......

generally it happens with sleep. like my grandpa yelled at me that I needed to cut my hair, except it was supposed to be God saying that to me, because I was in the middle of praying and getting some good feedback to show me that the praying was working... it softened my body considerably.

but why would God yell it at me? and with my grandpa's voice?

Sometimes I send things to my brother but I don't know if he's super aware and just being a "fool" messing with me (he's pretty young) or if he's very naive and just being a goofy adolescent, because he will somtimes appear like he's pretty aware of things but by the content of his character he seems rather normal for his age.

The thing is.... when you have a conversation, you send thoughts to people. Conversation IS telepathy. So when you stop using your voice then suddenly you think about something..... often times the other person is thinking the exact same thing.
So like when I was drunk I was wondering "is she pretty hot?" because I was thinking of something my friend said... and he said "yeah dude she's pretty hot".

And like.... I'll say "we could go eat...." and then I think the place I want to eat, but deliberately dont' say it and wait and he says the place I'm thinking......

things like that.

I am the MacDaddy of Heimlich County, I play it Straight Up Yo!

....I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human......
Om Namah Shivaya, I tell you What!

yeah, I know EXACTLY what you mean. Everyone wants to be telepathic so they can read people's minds, know their secrets, control them, etc...

What they don't realize is that a whole lot of other shit comes from telepathy too. Its not fun to feel the fears and sorrows of others. Its not fun to know people's secrets, for some skeletons should remain in their closets. Many times, I've had to 'draw the bridge' so to speak and just be alone for awhile, because people scare the crap out of me sometimes with the darkness they have inside.
