Hey everyone, Just wanted to get some feedback on this song I wrote. Its mainly a jam song, pretty heavy, although the lead guitar is impovised except for a few licks. Also the rythm at the start of the song has some mistakes in it so forgive that part and try to catch the real rythm.

Good stuff. Only part I didn't like was the effect around 2min into the song.

Im listening to it right now and I think its alright. I like the lead part a lot. The dude is on the verge of a major shred session. What I dont like is how heavy the guitar is. I guess its just personal taste, but you can get a lot better sounding jam/song with a little less death in the guitar. Turn some of the mid range frequencies up a little and it will sound a lot better. Also, I agree that the effects around 2min are annoying. Other than that, rock on.

yea the last time I recorded I gotta a really good feel of using the wah wah at that part, but this time I never got the bends and the timing right so it sounds way off. Might never be able to get that sound again, ah well, can always shred through it.

Been listening to Metallica lately, eh?

The wah doesn't need to be hit just on the beat, you can fool around with the rhythm of it, and how far down it goes. It sounds cool if you wah right as you bend a note.

ya metallica is a big influence of mine, I'm still playing with the song. I'd like to write a full solo for it but I find myself improvising most of the time when I record, I need to work on fitting the wah wah in their better too.
