I told myself it would be awhile to start one of these things but whatever. Tonight has been a very good night for me. I got some liquid hydrocodone in my system, a few heavy beers as well. I know a lot of you arent big sport fans but my night has been pretty good. miami heat played a great game, as they now advance further into the playoffs. and the yankees had the best comeback ever in the franchise history. (im not a bandwagon) and not to mention one of the best 9 inning games ive ever seen. just to give a lil recap rangers were up 13-12, bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, man on 2nd base, yankee's jorge posada comes up bat and hits a walk off home run. ive never been so happy in my entire life. it was so awesome i was on the phone with my dad when it happened, he was coming back from the heat game. haha, pure euphoria  :heart:, anyway hows everyone else doing?

Tonights game (yanks) was great! I was very happy to see Posada hit a walk off. He deserves the limelight. :yesnod: Celebrating tonights win with a couple extra beers than I'd normally drink. :wink:

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

oh man if one word could describe it, epic. definitely a game i'll remember for a long time. probably the best yanks game ive seen on television

Keep strong for your grandpa man. I'm sure he needs you to be strong for him right now. It wasn't too long ago I was in a similar situation. Both my grandparents on my mothers side were in the hospital about a week apart from eachother. It was rough for a while but they both pulled through ok. Hopefully this is the case with your grandfather. However be ready/willing to accept the worst possible outcome and if it's his time to go be glad that you were able to be a part of his life while he was here. :heart: :chugbeer:


InTheFlesh - Yeah I am a Yanks fan. They were playing shitty before Matsui broke his wrist. I haven't been happy with there performance at all this year so far. They've had some good games but not what I was expecting. :thumbdown:

to tell you the truth, it is out of my hands so stessing over it does me no good. its just my human nature to cling to those close to me. he is ready, and has been for quite some time. i can see it in his eyes. it saddens me, but at the same time i am happy that he will finally be united with that which he has been apart of for so long. but thats still some time away, at least until after our fishing trip. he will make it through this, that is if its up to him.

nothing but love here, what happens happens.......i just need to learn to deal.

yeah they started rough last year too, but they ended up winning a 100 games that season. hopefully they'll pull through again this year, and back into the world series again.. ugh its a long season but tonite really got me in a good mood
