I don't have it. I guess it would get old after a while, but I think it's pretty cool for a little while i.e. while tripping. Do you have just one type like you can just taste sound or does it affect all your senses?

its like being on acid all the time, but not. you can see, hear, taste, smell, and hear colors and shapes; you can feel tastes; you can see smells... its just a whole mangeling of the senses.

its kinda hard to describe, but ill try to explain. every letter of the alphabet has a scent, texture, color, and sound (other than pronunciation). the letter "h" is green. it has a pionty texture, like jagged icicles, and it tasted like cold fog. it sounds like feedback from a microphone.

every number, shape, color, and letter does this. each one has different sound, tastes, scents, and textures tho.

i have a cousin who sees numbers as different colours. she says it has allowed her to see patterns much quicker than "normal" people. and she graduated with a dual math/comp-sci major from caltech, so i guess it's working for her!

I seem to "gain" synaesthesia at any dose with any psychedelic (and even stimulants like MDMA and BZP).

Can see music and taste colours. Never had anything weird going on with touch or smell though. Sometimes its stronger than others, but its always there when I'm tripping.

I've got it. Like zappa said, numbers and letters come with definite color associations (i dont have taste or smell with mine, unfortunately). Sometimes things will taste a color, like snow, which tastes green.

Also, music creates an image in my mind: they're almost subsconscious and I've been working on expressing them in some way, but its been near impossible. Sometimes I won't remember what a song sounds like, but I will recall the image it formed and be able to identify it.

(p.s. when you have it, its not from taking any psychedelics- its something thats around 24/7)

I Have it very minorly, but I don't even know if it is synaesthesia.

I just attribute personalities and colors to letters and numbers and experiences. But not very strongly.

I think these associations are from experiences though, like if an experience had alot of purple I will label it as purple in my mind.

And if, for example the letter S, sounds very slithery and snakes and stuff, so I label s as kind of sly and slithery. And probabaly red. I label 3 as orange, I dont know why.

But I dont think I actually have synaesthesia, I wish I did, it sounds cool.

I love it. It's like combining all your senses before you get to analyze them, instead of seperate touch/vision/smell/taste/auditory stimuli, they're all one.
