Catfish is the sweetest fish you'll ever eat and I know the Mississippi is loaded with 'em.

Hey all you good peeps out there!

It's been awhile.  I'm going to be around a lot lately(housesitting GF's place where there's internet). 

I'm getting pretty plastered tonight.  Gibsons silver and Pepsi(yum yum).  Some nice hash to keep me pleasantely buzzed too!  :grin:  I'm just trying to unwind and relax a bit.  I plan to play a lot of music in the next couple weeks.  I've already started.  I'm about to record some shit soon, depending on how hard I find it right now.

What's new and happening?  I had to pick a finger up yesterday...fuck!

I like eating catfish, but I don't really care for fishing for them. It is boring kinda. I really dig catching a bass, or cobia. They are fighters and it makes it a little more exciting. Don't get me wrong, I have caught a TOn of catfish at these farms. I just used spam and they were tearing it up!

we don't eat catfish unless they are farm raised. Why? because when you take a shit off the side of the boat, guess who is eagerly waiting to slurp a turd down?

yep... catfish.... they are human waste remoras... When we clean trout and redfish off the side of the boat, there are so many 5 lb catfish that I can/have seriously blindfolded myself and thrust into the water with a gig (pole with a spike on the end) and came up with a catfish.

They are such useless fish.

Yeah, definitely boring compared to sport fish like Bass or Pike or Pickerel. There's no challenge, no fight. But damn good eating.

Ahh man I love trout fishing with poles with a reel. I had the perfect spot back in Jersey by this waterfall where they all hang out since trout swip upstream...put some line with a light test on it and you're in for one hell of a fight/afternoon.

Fly fishing is something that I have always wanted to learn. I used to play around with this reaaly great fly rod that was at this outdoor store that a buddy of mine worked at. We would be out in the parking lot practicing with a hookless jig. It was pretty cool.
