I've always known of Johnny Cash and his bigger songs like Ring of Fire, I fought the Law, and the recent "Hurt" cover. I recently saw the movie Walk the Line, about the life of Johnny Cash. It was a great movie and made me look more into his music.

Anyways there's this one song called "Boy Named Sue" that I love. Haha such a good story song,

thought I would just share it with you guys. Definitley worth a listen no matter what genre you like  :wink:

Yea, its an oldie, but a goodie.
In the late 1960,s, he was all over the TV
singing that song.

yess boy named sue is one of my favorites. there are so many though.

i don't remember the name now but one he's talking about killing some girl, i think. i only heard it once and i was pretty fucked up.

does anyone think that Cash's voice sounds a lot like Jim Morrison?

When i heard that hurt song on the radio i thought it was a Doors ballad.
