when you guys 1st started growing, how many times before you got it right? I'm about to go for try #2, hope it works, if nothing after try 3, then i'm giving up

It took me a while. Acutally, i'm 100% sure it was the spores because even when I started to get success these spores would germinate. Make sure you're sterile and your spores are good and you'll have success.

don't quit lots of people experience failure, but overcoming failure makes us stronger! I have a GOOD feeling you know your mistakes and won't make them again and you'll soon have lots of little fun-guys around!! I had success my first time but it was not nearly the amount I figured i was gonna get. Just hang in there !!

Hell I d even go as far as saying if you fuck up on number 2 make number 3 the myco enviroment bags from sporeworks. It s hard to fuck that up.

Donno man, I just followed the PF tek, and decided to case my first time, and 5 casings all went through 3 flushes...maybe not the best, dense 12" shroom forests, but still damn nice
Just make sure your not stupid, and keep things sterile ... haha

It took me 9 months from start to finish. I spent a couple hours a week on it. My problem was getting tha dam thing to pin. I found EQ a pleasure to deal with. I got the spores from Ralph.

If you follow the MMGG exactly word for word, you're pretty much guaranteed sucess. I knew nothing of cultivation (way back in the day) and suceeded my first try. Of course, I lost a few jars to contamination, and I still do...here and there...Eventually, failure in some form is guaranteed when growing, and that's how you figure the organism out. It's called research; searching over and over again for the answers.

My first time I made the big mistake of buying the soulfood machine from Mushroom Magic and failed. It involes a petri inoc to grain to straw. I got all the way to straw and got cobweb.
The second time I tried PF tek and had great success. Many potent shrooms.
Pf tek is pretty hard to mess up if you can read.

Took me 4 tries. I realise now that this was because I had to create my own spore syringes (customs here is nasty). If I hadn't then I would have probably succeeded first go. My advice to you is if creating your own syringes the oven tek just doesn't cut it. Make a glovebox - a cardboard one worked fine for me.

Second try worked for me. I have actually never successfully fruited from cakes. First try was strictly PF style and that failed. I tried 50/50 casing the second time and it worked, so I kept on with different types of casings.
