Favorite Dick's Picks: Volume 8: May, 2 1970 at Harpur College in Binghamton, NY. The Viola Lee Blues on disc 3 is phenomenal. Volume 14: 11/30/73 at Boston Music Hall. Cd 2: 1. Here Comes Sunshine 2. Weather Report Suite > 3. Dark Star Jam > 4. Eyes of the World > 5. Sugar Magnolia ...My God! They were so together that night. and, Volume 18: 2/3/78 at Dane County Coliseum in Madison, WI My favorite bootleg that I have and would be willing to trade is 6-22-85 at Alpine Valley in WI. Other bootlegs I have for possible trade: 3-14-71 11-20-73 7-12-76 5-8-77 9-14-78 7-18-89 7-19-90 3-10-93 Of course these are all from SHN files. I don't mess with MP3s. If anyone wants to trade, I prefer CDs in regular cases. Any CDs that you get from me will be in regular cases (not those crappy slim cases) for easy labeling of setlists. Go to deadlists.com to see the setlists for the above mentioned shows. I must say that my all time favorite Dead CD to listen to while on acid is Without a Net. It's just pure perfection and every song has so much spirit. The Althea and Cassidy on disc one is such a psychedelic voyage. Highlights from disc 2: Eyes of the World, Help>Slip>Franklins Tower and, of course, Dear Mr. Fantasy. Man, I get chills just thinking about that album.

Europe 72 is great. I think my favorite studio album to trip to is Anthem of the Sun. That album makes perfect sense to me when I'm peaking on acid. Well, everything makes perfect sense to me when I'm peaking on acid.

I don't know about live, but "Rosemary" is my favorate dead ssong "boots were of leather, a breath of cologne her mirror was a window, she sat quite alone all around her the garden grew scalet, and purple, and crimson, and blue she came aand she went and at last went away the garden was sealed when the flowers decayed _____________ garden a legend did say no one may come here since no one may stay." the _______is where I don't know the lyrics :/ but if ou just listen to that song ONCE you will fall in love I gaurentee it. The way garcias voice is, there's only guitar playing so it's so mellow and tranquil. And the lyrics oh man the lyrics. When ever I listen to this song even when I'm sober, I get the most beautiful images in my mind. I also hear "franklins tower" is real trippy My other fav dead songs to listen to while trippin St. Stephens The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion) Uncle John's band Just buy the album "skeletons from the closet" and enjoy

Sorry I didnt clarify...I was talking about the 5-8-77 show... I think my favorites right now are Dick's Picks 11, Reckoning/Dead Set, and Dozin' at the Nick. Does anyone know if the October 22-31, 1980 show at Radio City Music Hall is in production? I have an original poster from that show and would like to actually hear the shows as a whole. As of now, I only know of the Reckoning/Dead Set albums that have bits of that show.

Ah, i gotcha... no, i just downloaded 5-8-77. I love Dozin at the Knick too, but so much of my life is tied up in those discs... I tend to really associate periods of my life with the music i was listening to predominantly during that time... DatK was just about all i listened to during some of my happiest days with Becca... memories....

I love Without a Net, Dozing at the Knick, and Ladies and Gentleman. I have a lot of good obscure stuff to on mp3. Check out www.gdlive.com. Tons of dead shows and a lot of cool shows by other sweet bands.
