COPS JUST RAIDED MY DORM
    #5489480 -

Ok so i wake up after a night out to a bang on my door. It was the fucking cops, they got some info that i was selling weed out of my dorm. Luckily I didnt have any weed on me, THANK GOD. They found my grinder and 2 adderalls. But they straight up told me that adderall is a felony and that they were gonna charge me if I didnt help them. They said that i have to go buy some weed for them. WHAT DO I DO??? I cant get a felony, but at the same time I cant rat someone out.

Any advice about the ins and outs of this procedure, how i can buy the weed and not fuck over the dealer too bad, how i can not have to do it at all.

Ive got some badass weed hookups and dont want to fuck them. But someone fucked me, i just dont know who.

Having two adderall is a felony? You should start by calming down, remaining sober, and doing some research to make sure the cops aren't fucking YOU. I'd also throw out, get rid of somehow give em to someone, all weed-related paraphernalia in your dorm.

Yup. Clean up your computer as well. They are just trying to intimidate you into giving them information. Get a public defender if you can't afford an attorney, and only speak to the police/prosecuters/county or district attorneys with him/her present.

Yes this is a total intimidation scheme they're running and you can't let them get you all panicked and let yourself be pushed around like this.

Okay, so they have "information" on you. And two pills of adderall. And you had no weed on you. Did they confiscate the grinder? Stay sober and get rid of everything.

don't rat out other people to save your own ass.

a cousin of mine was busted with a small amount of perscription drugs that he did not have a perscription for. it was not a felony in the slightest. just fines, probation, and a misdemeanor.

again, don't rat out other people to save your own ass

Exactly, just take some deep breaths and try to relax. IF someone ratted you out, then it doesn't mean that you in turn should do the same. The chances that they will spend their time prosecuting one person for having two adderalls on them are very slim. At most I'd bet they'd fine you.

DON'T LET THEM INTIMIDATE YOU!

Look up the laws for your state, and see what the absolute MAXIMUM penalty is for that possession. Chances are it's either a fine or some sort of probation/community service. Then realize that the chance that they'll waste their time charging one little person is minimal.

In some states, Florida being one, If you are caught with prescription medication that is not prescribed to you, no matter how harmless the drug, it is a felony.

felony for two adderalls?  And now they want you not just to give info, but to actually go out and do narc work?

fuck that.  Get a good lawyer and tell them to go fuck themselves.

did they have a warrant?  what evidence did they use to obtain it besides heresay?  This whole case reeks of bad policework.

I'm pretty sure you won't get more than a years probation and thats if the case isn't dropped entirely.

I just realized that they didnt take my grinder which had some seeds and stems in the carrier. On a college campus having adderall is a big deal, it IS a felony, i know people who have had felony charges pressed on them for it.

did they have a warrant?....did they confiscate the adderall without probable cause? if so the aderall cannot be used against you as evidence .

usually police do not need a warrant to search a dorm-room - the college gives them permission, and you sign your rights to privacy away when you live there

I need to think up a scheme to trick the cops... Like stash some weed in the bathroom a walmart, say im meeting a guy there and just give them my stash when i come out.

They don't want weed, they want to bust someone else. I say man up and fight it in court.

Like darkfly said, a sack of weed isn't going to make them go "All right, we're all done here, we got more weed!" They want to make arrests.
