HM man, in all my pot smoking days... i slowly came to be an honest person... i don't like lying or lier's, people who steal each other's stuff and whores.... i don't like them but i have to put up with those people... i don't mean to be rude in any shape or form... think about it... we are all losers! we sit at home... talk on a forum about drugs... and we message A LOT so theoretically we are all losers who are probably ugly, have no lives, and lie about our lives all the time.

i don't know about that. i'd say a good percentage of the shroomery is more educated than the "average" westerner. also there is probably a greater percentage of university educated people here than in any normal census of the population (not that that says much more than indicating the middle-class or greater economic status of one's parents). and (a lot of) people here are definitely more knowledgeable about mycology than most.

I just want to point out to people posting in this topic, talking "trash" and bragging are two totally different things.

What sorts someone bragging and simply being excited/happy/proud for whatever they are talking about?

Because, I think it's just easier for people to talk to strangers, with confidence, about that woman they slept with last night and made cum 5 times(for example).

I'll admit, some people downright brag, but most simply exude a lot of confidence and are proud to announce their experiences to the internet community.

I'll totally admit I do it. I usually tell the same stuff to my group of buds, but I catch myself talking about it more confidently to all of you.

What I see more than anything is people talking about kicking the shit out of people for screwing them over, mouthing off, etc.

It seems like the most common response to any problem, when in reality I'd venture to guess the percentage of users here who wouldn't get their asses handed to them in a fistfight is very small.

I Don't know about ya'll or "marijuanaisgood4u", but I like to think I am good looking, matter of fact I am! Have some confidence people! I have a pretty shitty job, but it pays well and I go to college, so I DONT LIKE TO THINK I'M A COMPLETE FUCK UP! Well I do ingest, research, and talk to ya'll about illegal brain cell -killing substances all the time!

I don't brag often, sometimes I brag about school I guess, like when I finally do something kick ass....but in most cases I'm always the first to say I suck and am waaaay too lazy to lie.

I've never seen you brag about school. You always seem to non-brag about school (for example when you ask for help for a particular class).

I try not to brag at all.  I like mouthing off usually on here or providing good advice or information.  I have alot of good things I'd like to talk about but I make an effort to avoid bragging.  I think it keeps me from getting to know more of you guys better.

Now, I do think highly of myself, but blessed as I am... I find myself wasting it all away on the shroomery with my egopuffing shroomerites rather than venturing out and making something of it.

Full of shit or not you guys/gals have some good shit to say and I generaly believe most of it to be true.

This is a good place with good people.

The only thing that I perceive myself to brag about (since my bias could possibly blind me from proper deduction) is my job.

I love my job, because right now I am working, mixing a band, that rocks, this guy sounds like jeff buckley.

i guess it isnt bragging though if you truly believe you rock at some aspect, rather than trying to artificially puff your ego.
