...seems to happen a lot. I have noticed that it happens on this site often as well. I'll admit that I am sometimes guilty of it myself. On the Shroomery I routinely see people bragging about how smart they are, sexual conquests, romantic conquests, charismatic adventures, etc..

What is it about a keyboard that inflates one's balls?

People talk trash because they know no one can call them out on it, as they're more than likely 100's, if not 1000's of miles away behind the relative anonymity of the keyboard. Having said that, I always try to tell the truth - it's much easier to remember.  :tongue:

i never really exaggerate or brag on the internet, whether here or other sites/in ims, unless it is obviously a joke ("OMG I JUST MAINLINED 5000 HITS OF ACID, iN MY NUTSACK!", f. ex.)

That's what I like to see!  Pure unadulterated truth.

Most of us like to think that we're good looking, very intelligent, and likeable.  To be honest, most of us are completely average (and sometimes even below average) in most areas.
