I grabbed this from Petco the other day. Looks like coco coir, it's in a compressed brick. But as I was reading the label carefully the other day I realized it says in the red label across the middle of the package, "Compressed coconut FIBER compressed substrate."
So could the company just have mis-labeled the package? I mean it comes in a compressed brick, im pretty sure thats the trademark of coir......?

In my other hobby I've run across coco fiber compressed as a brick, though I'm not familar with that particular package.

That's coir. It's what you're looking for. If they also have the competing brand 'Forest Bed', pick it up next time. I find it to be of higher quality. RR

Yeah I saw forest bed there too, but it looked kinda cheapy. I guess you can't judge a book by it's cover huh. Anyways Ill stick with this brand for this grow being as im mixing with Hpoo anyways, that should make up for quality.
Thanks guys.
