There are better and cheaper equilalent devices than the video iPod.

Maybe you should do some looking around instead of assuming that the most popular product must be the best product?

i got a 30 gig video for xmas, and its fuckin amazing. as a POOR student i couldnt justify spendin 3 bills of my own money on it, but on the same token if you have the money and love of music, grab one.

If you dont intend on using the video function buy an earlier generation! But if you do want to use it its great! I have all sorts of family guy on it, and any video you see on google videos can be downloaded, preformatted for your ipod

i suppose it depends on your intended use then. if you think youd get your moneys worth from the video feature grab it. its neat to have and fun to show off, but if your not gonna use it that much, save the paper and get a refurb
