ive gotten that blank page with
"bb down for maintenace, check out the rest of the site"
while refreshing the forums.
then ill refresh again and the boards will be back again.

ive gotten it a couple times this week
& once after i submitted post. >.<

I've been getting that repeatedly for the past few days now. When I refresh it works fine but still.

Same here, it usually happens when I hit submit - but also when something takes a long time to load.. I've been seeing it occasionally for months now.

The downtime we just had was due to an attempted fix. I'm not sure yet, but hopefully this may be resolved.

ive been getting this off and on for a few days. it would be nice if the mods could let us know whats going on. im pretty paranoid about the government and how they can intervene wherever they want. seems like putting down the boards is a good way to get in, get info, and get out without a mess...

then again its not likely. but like i said, it would be nice to have a mod let us know whats up.

They did let you know whats up, a few posts up in this thread....

I've never seen a site that wasnt down occasionally for maintenence. I'm sure they'll have everything running normally again as soon as they get a chance....

youre right about that, but 99% of the boards and sites i check out will say "hey, were gonna be down from this time to this time" and theyre down and thats it. theyre back up, and everythings cool. the site has been up and down for a few days which seems to indicate there is some sort of problem theyre working on.

and yes im a shroomery addict. im at work and its a slow season so i am bored out of my mind here all day.

Yeah, the outage was a little on the long side. Our boards have just gotten so big that it takes forever to repair them when they get corrupted. Add on a problem where they kept re-corrupting themselves, and you have a recipe for downtime. Link was on top of it, and hopefully things are working now (knock on wood). But yeah, we do announce scheduled maintenance ahead of time, it's just that this was unscheduled.

I have seen this message like two days in a row also... For a couple hours at a time. Some time around 6 eastern time it happened this morning.
