I was waiting for the artist list to come out today to determine whether or not I'll be going, and I don't think there's any way I can miss this show. 130 bands in 3 days. It should be crazy.

There's a few stellar spots in that lineup but a pretty week undercard if you ask me. Very spread out and varied though.
If you do go, try and catch the Benevento-Russo Duo.

Yeah, some of the bands are lame (see: Coheed and Cambria), but it'll give me something to do this summer, plus some of those bands I've wanted to see for a really long time (Iron and Wine & The New Pornographers).

I just wonder about the crowd. There's enough jam acts on their to bring all sorts of suburban fratboy pseudo-hippies into the mix.
You would like Sound Team too - they're a lot like Spoon meets the Walkmen.

I'll have to give a listen to a lot of those bands before I go. I haven't even heard of many of them.

if tickets arent too outrageously priced,....it would be worth going for the following bands:
Red Hot Chili Peppers Matisyahu Sonic Youth The Disco Biscuits The Dresden Dolls Deadboy & the Elephantmen
couple other groups listed would be ok to see live i would think.....
hope tickets arent like $200 or something stupid
