When the munchies strike...

Every time I smoke, I get the intangible and irresistible craving for food. Awesome, right? Thing is...it's fucking ridiculously hard trying to find food that's sweet, filling yet HEALTHY.

I'd love to just pick up some burritos down the street, munch on a king size bag of m&m's whilst drinking strawberry milk...but it's just not worth it.

Could anyone share their healthy munchy foods?

If all else fails, I guess a big bowl of cereal isnt THAT bad. Keep in mind, Im a paranoid calorie counter. Not an extreme one

ahhhh the munchies. I miss them.

I stopped getting them after a couple years of heavy daily tokage, along with cottonmouth and if its good weed redeye.

man to be a lightweight again.

For a while, when I was trying to lose some weight, I found that celery sticks/carrots plus ranch/peanutbutter go a LONG way when I get the munchies.

Think about it, the celery and carrots are crunchy, while the peanut butter or ranch dressing (some times blue cheese) is creamy and savory. It was so perfect after a bowl or two.

Also, I would recommend crackers and pepperoni/cheese. That's probably not as healthy, but it's definitely better than M&Ms or fast food.

Thanks for the suggestions! The celery/peanut butter/ranch sounds delicious.

One of my best munchie memories was on Valentines day. In protest of the holiday that promotes the succubus, we made pancakes and french toast.

I swear to god, if someone creates a type of bread that has little to no calories and carbohydrates, you're a king in my book.

Two of my favorite muchie foods are orange wedges and pineapples. Throw some granola bars in the mix to anchor it down...mmmmmmm...

I have found out that oatmeal is a whole new expierience in itself while high. Not that instant packet crap. The plain 'ol oatmeal with splenda and cinnomon.

Last time I had a major case of the munchies, I ate a big slice of chocolate cake I had bought at a bakery earlier that day.

That was so satisfying.

But, yeah, normaly I just eat some peanutbutter out of a large spoon.

In small quantities...you CANT tell the difference.

But im the kind of guy who loves to make a big bowl of sugar with a little cereal in it, and when you put THAT much splenda in it...fucking gross.

some sour cream and onion chips with some dip, man, some beef jerky, some peanut butter. Get some Haagen-Dasz ice cream bars, a whole lot, make sure chocolate, gotta have chocolate, man. Some popcorn, red popcorn, graham crackers, graham crackers with marshmallows, the little marshmallows and little chocolate bars and we can make s'mores, man. Also, celery, grape jelly, Cap'n Crunch with the little Crunch berries, pizzas. We need two big pizzas, man, everything on 'em, with water, whole lotta water, and Funyons.
