I just wanted to say that i thank whoever supports this website and the server that gives us all this... its amazing... i've managed to remember all the colonization/spawning/fruiting/and even a little LC and grain setup and the processes therein. I highly suggest everyone who doesnt know all the essentials of the mycology hobby to copy n' paste as much info as you can get. No one knows how much longer this site is gonna be up, but i dont see it at more than a year, year n' half tops, sorry to say, and im gonna hate the day when its gone, but just like overgrow.com, the gov. is gonna find us and take us down. I just wanna THANK EVERYONE AT THE SHROOMERY, all the moderators, <-- I know they do alot volunteer work, and all the knowledgable mycologist who gave me some advice along the way just because they are that awesome! Anyway, dont abuse the substance, it's a beautiful thing, and should be treated as such.
To a lifetime of grillin :-)

But seriously~these forums hold some seriously brilliant mycological minds. I see it as something more serious than many other sites like it... It's not (all) a bunch of stoner college kids trying to buy pot seeds or whatever using their computers. Or... maybe that's just the cultivation forum?
I agree. Shroomery.org is one of my favorite 40 websites, hands down. And I have many.

but seriously, i dont think they will touch this site, its been up for alot longer than OG was im guessing, but not sure...'


i would guess the government takes marijuana cultivation as a much more serious problem to tackle not because they think weed is worse than shrooms(laws obviously indicate the opposite) but so many more people grow weed i would imagine...how many people grow shrooms frmo this site and how many grow them commercially...i bet alot but not nearly as many as people who try to grow weed commercially...

a couple things to remember.

first of all, overgrow was not shut down because of its content. the owner was arrested because he was ALSO selling seeds through the site, and selling them over the border to people in the US. shroomery does not sell anything, its simply a message board.

second, I believe shroomery is in the US. which means what is said on this message board as well as others is free speech. protected by the first amendment.

in regards to the first ammendment, free speech is free speech, but im pretty sure that theoretically the US could charge you for conspiracy to cultivate or some other bogus charge... although if that was possible no good lawyer would let you rot for that oen...

yeah, i didnt mean to start any agruments bout what the gov. can and can not do. But thanx for that tidbit on OG, I was told that the information alone was enough to incriminate the server/website owners; however that would make much more sense because i also thought there was a free-speeh clause built into the constitution but who knows nowadayz. But anyway, no jinx'n here, knock on 3 different peices of wood 3 times each. ;-)

yeah, that is an interesting catagor. to put it in. All the same to me though, thanx Roadkill. :-) You know of a place called "Sams" in Seattle Roadkill? Its easily the best place to get yourself a new peiece or stuff of that sorts if your lookin for one. anyway, just thought i'd toss that in there cause i live like 25 mins from seattle.
