Getting paid to test things

i got a call from a company that needs testers for food, cosmetic etc... if you qualify, you get paid to test new products coming out. has anyone done such a thing before? is it BS? the lady told me there was no fees on my part so i signed up..

I was a beta tester for a while for sierra. I got to test quite a few games. It was a blast.

My sister does this test crap. She just wins prizes and stupid stuff like that.

Normally they send her some food or somthing. They want you to prepare it and then rate it. Do this you get some knicknack in the mail.

It's fun! I do it rather often and since I'm freaky-lookin', they always put me in the 'bad eggs' list, which means that I don't meet their target audience, which is apparently only white, fat, middle-class people.

I get paid nevertheless, and get to go home.

Not a bad day's work, eh? :smile:

heh, this reminds me of when i was a kid, and swearing that when i was grown id become a motorcycle tester.....
