Cleansing someone of bad energy...

Could someone absorb bad energy from you, if they offered to do such a thing?

Electrical, kinetic, thermal, radiant, chemical, nuclear, sound, mechanical, psychokinetic, or dark energy?

Whichever type, I don't think they could do it if they offered, but rather if they were capable.

Yes. If your spouse comes home after a terrible day. They can easily bring you into their mood. Transfer of bad energy.

When you heal a person using energy work such as reiki, you are offering to share energy with them by your very presence. This is why cleansing oneself first is important; you want to bring their balance of positive energy up through your interaction with them. But that flow of energy can be directed. So, negative energy can be avoided (directed away); and positive cultivated.

Yeah, look up Reiki as shymanta mentioned.

And as mandlebrot said, both people's vibrations would be affected. There are a couple factors though of how they are affected. The person whose vibration has a greater amplitude will more easily absorb -- or, actually, resist -- vibrations of lesser amplitude. Just think basic physics -- energy vibrations follow the same rules as any other waves. What happens when two waves with different frequencies and amplitude interact? The lower frequency will be increased and the higher frequency will be decreased, and the amount of increase or decrease depends on the amplitude of each wave.

So when a person with "bad energy" (low frequency) comes in contact with a person of higher frequency, they will subconsciously be affected for the other's energy. And it works vice-versa.

this so called energy is  a state of mind  and you can either help someone  or hender them helping people see the positive will help rid them by  lifting their "bad energy"  but be careful their poor mood could stick to you.
negative emotions are contagious although positive emotions (or thoughts )work  like a an antidot :smile:

Yep. Whether you choose to see good or bad, heaven or hell is really just a decision. There is right and wrong in your eyes, but that's just an interpretation of what is. If you think that you should enjoy something, then enjoy everything. That's how it is to you. You are part of the universe, but it comes down to you to decide how it effects your emotions.

Just live. Focus and be aware. Feel and do. Stuff happens.
