I'd say it's more "expected" for a chick to go down on a guy.  In my relationship it's all about making the other person feel better, so I do it just as much as she does.

It goes back to the old days. Not more than 50 years ago it wasn't the norm. Women were still in their place, and a man that ate pussy was considered weak. Although he might do it in private, he would never talk about it. This is still prevelant today in certain groups.

it's so subjective. i've been with several girls (girlfriends) - not much of a swingabout - two of which i've done oral too. my old gf i did often to, who i'm with now doesn't like the idea or enjoy it as much. but she goes down on me more often than my previous gf, so i don't know.

in my opinion, it's entirely subjective to the party. i would say though that it's talked about more when girls go down on guys, or it's more accepted. i don't know..
