The one thing that truly scares me about LSD are flashbacks. Every LSD expirience I have ever had i smoked at least a graham of chronic, i was recently reading up more on acid flash backs and read

"marijuana is the most common way to trigger an acid flashback"

i happen to be a cannabis enthusiast , i smoke pot every day and wouldnt have it any other way. i am already afraid that some day i will be puffing on a joint trying to "relax" when suddenly the weed will induce an acid flash back , i also worry about if i got an acid flashback while i was operating a car. so the main reason i do not do acid as often as i would like to is because i do not want to risk the quality of my marijuana usage.

My statistical assumption is that chemical tapering should begin when the rate of visiting ODD exceeds the rate of visiting Pub, or any other Shroomery forum.

well not if you are behind the wheel of a car. and yes i did make the mistake of driving on acid

on a different note holy shit what a conisidence, i am listening to that pinkfloyd album in your signature at the very moment i just noticed it.  The Piper at the Gates of Dawn is disputabely there best album - but they sound  like a TOTALLY different band with Syd Barret (a band  on ALOT more acid maybe)

I would have to agree.

And as far as having flashbacks while driving, I've had a few.
It shouldn't distract you TOO bad. When driving, your consciousness should be on somewhat of an auto-pilot anyways.

Basically, think back to when you had a strong bout of nostalgia in your life. A flashback will distract about that much, but it will be a different type of feeling. Also, I've never had any extreme visuals that I couldn't operate with after having a flashback. So you should be ok.

What the hell is a flashback anyway? How do you differentiate an acid flashback between any other sub-version of altered reality/consciousness. I have altered states of consciousness fairly often, but I don't think I can put names to them.. they just are. Kick back and enjoy the ride.

dont smoke pot when you trip on acid then... pot is good while tripping, but not necessary...

Indeed.
It's good on the come-up, and come down, I find.
But pretty much a waste of pot to smoke while you are peaking.
