Don't get too excited, It's only a 2 year degree. I still have 2 more years if I want a bachelors in it. I don't even know if I can continue from the point I'm at. It's an AAS degree. I guess I need a fucking counselor but it's almost impossible to find a person who knows what they're talking about in this town.

I'm seriously considering finishing up the next two years with the co-op program offered by the NSA.

There is NOTHING wrong with a computer job with the NSA.  I'd love to have that on my resume.

Of course I imagine it would be hell to work there. :smile:

It's not crazy. The government needs cryptologists. And it's not like the government is some sort of conveniently perfect evil entity straight out of a cheap comic book. The government may enforce some laws that oppress us, but they enforce a hell of a lot more that keep our asses safe.

And the NSA has little or nothing to do with the laws that are bad for us. The NSA is more concerned with military and terrorist threats. They do things that are GOOD for us. So do cryptologists. Do you have any comprehension of the number of wars we would have had our asses beat to death in if we didn't have cryptologists?

BTW, this is a broad-reaching response. It's not just directed at any one person's post.
