I recently ordered some empty syringes for The Little Guy and was impressed, the package got to me within a week with everything intact. So just a heads up that the service is good, I have yet to deal with their spores, but will soon.

how hard is it to get pink buffalo's to pin? I've got some gulf coast's incubating right now and have heard they're a bitch to get to pin?

It's good to hear that the new vendor on the block is doing well.
roykinn -- I've cultived GCs (from 3MShroom) many times and they were a sinch to get to pin. I birthed some pre-mature (96% or so, the spots didn't contaminate) and even had a instance of black spots that only appeared on the surface that I cut out and got them to pin in a perlite humidified ice cream bucket. I fanned 2-3x daily and sprayed the walls every time they were looking dry. Also, I had a very slack-jawed casing in which I placed a plastic bag over it a sprayed the bag when necessary. I got some pins, mostly from the sides, but I got pins.

Thanks for the responce, that's good to hear. My spores are from ralphster, and are colonizing this rye like mad... What is the trip like with these GCs in your experience, or from what you've heard?

My PBs are still incubating - as for 3M Gulf Coasters, they are a great strain and are nice potency wise - for some info, do am search in the mushroom pictures forum for Duncan8r's 'Ugly man' post or Hongus's post with pics of GCs, MCs and PRs - they grow huge off rye - im trying birdseed for 3m GCs as we speak!! Nice story too - apparently according to mcman's site the Indigenous people of the Gulf COast region made black tea out of the mushrooms

Yeah, I read that... Good story, I've seen some posts and did my research before even getting the spores. Just wanted to get some other's opinions on the matter... I'm hoping this rye will work out well... I'm birthing them as cakes into my hydra-pod which is working great, hopefully I can get some pics up on here when they fruit. BTW, how safe is it to post up pics of your setup... I see people doing it all the time, but I'm a paranoid guy.

Thanks for the kind words Roy! Good luck on your research my friend. As far as posting pics goes, I don't know how safe it is. I have posted pics and I'm still walking around free. Take that for what it is.

I havent had a chance to try the syringes I got from boxtop, but they did arive in about 4 days and in very good condition. Ill let you know how the research goes when I get around to doing it.
