Gulf Coast strain characteristics?

Just wondering if any of you guys would be kind enough to post in regard with your experience with this cub. I've heard that that there are different types of Gulf Coast strains but the one I'm using was purchaced from Myco-Tek if that helps any.

I grew out GC from 3MShroom. He noted the strain as small mushroom that produces a large pinset. However, I found the mushroom to be avergage size for a shroom with lots of pins. I was getting large flushes from single cakes repeadtly.

I havent grown this strain myself (3m gulfcoaster) but Hongus and Duncan8r did very well with this strain - huge pin set and Duncan got some huge-ens off rye
