THC Detection Times Shorter Than First Thought

Was just reading NORML site and came across this new article, good news for anyone on probation/parole or facing a drug test for work! :smile:

Detection time for chronic users is only 10 days now, compared to the previously assumed time of 31 days or whatever insanely long time period it was. Time to smoke a bowl    :crazy2:

FUCKING HA! When I was in the Navy, there was a command wide urine screening following a lengthy deployment in the Southern California coast. Out of 400 men in the ship's crew, 12 tested positive for being above the limit of cannabinoid metabolites found in the urine at 15 ng/ml. Remember this test was given almost three weeks after the last time we stepped foot on land and yet they were still able to detect the presence of cannabinoids in our system. Maybe it was cause of the low ng/ml cut off that they used, maybe it was all in error or maybe I just smoked too much damn weed. Either way, I think this "good news" will only be "good" if the govt. tries to incorporate this in their curent National Drug Screening Format. I am sure as it stands, all labs will continue to use the traditional testing methods(of course)and timelines for drug use until the US steps in and says "Yeah, okay, I guess we can shorten the time that we can find the presance of an illegal substance (MJ) in urine..." "Sounds like a great idea!"...yeah...right....

15 ngml is a lot harder to beat than 50ngml.

I have passed 50ng/ml everytime by dilution and usually beat the checkpoints too.

I don't think MJ is now suddenly leaving our systems quicker...it might just be that they are testing for a higher amount.

The half life I believe is 7 days. If you have poor metabolism and smoke a lot it's going to take longer than 10 days.

TameMe: They do use the words occasional smoker.  So if you are smoking this time until you go to sleep that would exclude you and me for sure :smile:

Actually it is harder to pass when they are testing for a lesser amount.  I hope that makes sense.

I think I could pass a test now with 5 days and dilution the day of. 

If your in the ARMY or some shit and you have to go first thing in the morning and they wake you up and shit that is when you run into problems.

When we had the command sweep like I said previously, the Executive Officer gathered everyone on the flight deck and the ship was secured from anyone leaving or boarding the ship. Those fucks even locked all the bathrooms throughout the ship and only left one open for the urinalysis to prevent anyone from "flushing" their system. That is useless anyways becuase the military checks for masking agents as well as drugs(I dunno how but I had a good friend kicked for masking his urinalysis sample.) I don't think he was kicked out for exactly that, but he refused the Navy's reccomendation for "Substance Abuse Retention Program" with the Navy and was booted for failure to follow a direct order. So yeah, the military is starting to get smarter with their urine testing. And I just heard today the ng/ml for special forces is being moved down to 10 ng/ml for urinalysis testing. Try and beat that one...lol (for the one who PMed me earlier; you know who you are...FU)

i have passed a drug test after smoking 2 days b4 the test. just dilute and every thing will all be good :naughty: after all they cant bust u for drinking to much water
