Does THC really remain in your system for 30 days?

We hear the thirty day rule all the time, but I'm pretty skeptical. My brothers have both passed drug tests only days after smoking, and they went to no extremes to ensure they passed. I have a drug test coming up soon and haven't smoked since Friday night, and I have much less body fat than the both of them, so I'm thinking I'll be alright. Thoughts? I also plan on working out vigorously everyday until I'm tested.

It all depends on the frequency of use before you stopped. If you were an occasional smoker then it should be out of your system within a week. If you puffed everyday then it will take closer to 30 days.

No safe rule, depends on usage and lifestyle.

It can stay in your system longer than 30 days, although it won't be at a detectable level.

Easily detectable for 30-40 days if you're a heavy smoker, most definitely can stay in your system.

I've tested postive on a multipanel urine test before after ~35 days break.

For sure, I know a guy who tested + after ~40 days.  Rare but it happens.

I was clean after 12 days of smoking everyday multiple times prior to the drug test. You must take into consideration a lot of factors such as body weight, metabolism, amount of bud smoked, quality of bud smoked...etc. etc.

A technicality, THC is not truly in your "system"; it's metabolites it in your fat cells. So, if you got a test THC metabolites would show up in your system; not THC.

Also, saying it's in your system is a little vague and misguiding. It actually sounds like something the government would say to give it an altered connotation. How long it is in your system, sounds more like how long the effects last, not how long it would take for your to de'tox' your system clean of THC by products.

(There's many systems in your body, in case you over looked it)

alright heres the deal:
i always try to give my two cents because i have had to deal with taking a weekly drug test for 9 months. It all depends on your weight, food intake,how often you smoke and metabolism. I have smoked once and passed a drug test 5 days after. But then I went on a week long rampage and faked for 3 weeks then failed on the 4th week. DEFINITLY pick up some Niacin at your local cvs or whatever you have close. If there extreme mesures need to be taken, dont eat for a day, only drink water and eat niacin, then drink so much water you feel sick for the next few days eat things that are healthy. Its all about flushing your system out. Detox kits do work in my expirience but only the ones that cost what you dont wanna pay. I shutter to even say this but if youve got a timeline to when your gonna get tested but cant fight the urge.. ONLY smoke mid grade nugs, THC levels much lower, where as with dank who knows how potent it might be( a few hits of that might be equivilant to a blunt of mids). Working out is a great idea, but when it comes down to it I personally never worked out as much as I should have. Do everything you can but regular niacin has always stayed true to me, take a couple but get ready for your skin to feel a bit flushed, and keep taking them up to the day of your test.
