Ever have the PM notification graphic keep blinking?

Even after the new PM has been read and replied to?
For some reason mine won't stop flashing. I tried logging out, then back in... still it blinks away.

Damn I even deleted my cookies just now and it still is acting like I got new PMs.
I wonder if my browser is screwed up or if this is common?

Are you behind a network proxy that caches?

Or maybe your ISP caches too much?

I have to use an anonymous proxy to surf the shroomery, because surfing behind my local network proxy, EVERYTHING gets cached, and I can't see new posts, my PMs don't update, etc.
