I've done this a couple times with a friend of mine. Considering the fact we were playing in a nice area (ie rich as fuck), we hardly made a thing. Enough to pick up a 40oz each but that's barely worth it...

hmm, albertsons doesnt sound like a good place to go. where abouts are you at? are you close to the beach or a busy street where you can hang out at? like a main street or something?

and ill go check out the song now

im hittin San Fran tomarrow, fishermans warf will probobly be a good spot. I know a place where i dont need a permit.

Yeah, it worked before at that spot, but that was with another guitarist and we had a sign.

Im not in the best neighborhood for it anyway. Smack dab in the ghetto. :lol:

I want to learn the guitar, but I've never been able to afford one, let alone lessons on how to play it.

I really want to play guitar at a place like santa monica pier some day. It would be fun.

Then again, I want to play electric, but electric is a bit less portable unless you have one of those awesome amps that you can clip onto your belt. A friend had one of those, he played at school during lunch in one of the quads. Good times, he was a real free spirit.

those clip on amps are only like 30bucks, i got one of those, pretty kul.
and you can get a cheap electric for around 100 or 150 bucks. and for a beginner, classes are good, but if you cant afford them search the net and you can learn like that too. and if you know any guitarists they should be able to teach you the basics pretty easily.

Besides, for the first few months, you really dont need lessons. You just have to condition your fingertips, and learn chords, whick you can find anywhere. BTW, I have a '66 Stella that some dumbshit just abandoned at my house,lol.
