Psychadelic hot chocolate!/ azures?
    #528073 -

I tried substrate tea (http://www.shroomery.org/dosageandingestion/recipe5.html) over the weekend and it was great. My question is if it is possible to keep the filtered water for any long period of time? I'm no chemist so i don't know if the psilocybin and psilocin would break down somehow if in the water for too long.

Also I was thinking about the difficulty to just grow azure mycelium vs. the actual mushrooms. Do azures have to be innoculated on wood chips or is that only if you want them to fruit. Could I use vermiculite and brf if I just wanted to colonize jars and not fruit them? If they can only grow mycelium on woodchips then I would love it if someone could tell me how or PM me the links to any teks (like maybe innoculating woodchips/? in a jar?). Any suggestions or PMs would be greatly appreciated.

as i understand its possible to knock up BRF/verm with azure spores and get mycelium. these jars are used for spawn since they wont fruit. dont waste your time trying this out unless youve been around cause it isnt easy.
i wouldnt try to store psilo water or psilo hot chocolate. i dont know of any particular risks, but this sounds as dangerous s making prison applejack wine.

But I think it would be a great way to test out some azure power, as I don't think that I will ever see them otherwise!
