Your own strawberry fields

Everyone has their own strawberry fields, or at least should have their own strawberry field. A place to go and forget it all, to relax, and it gives you that special feeling of being at home, and just internal peace. What is yours?
unfortunatley i haven't been to mine in a long time, nor can i find a place like it. It would be a place, like one of those overun lots, with weeds and stuff growing in them, a huge one though. There would be a certain smell, i cant explain it, it reminds me of Rasberries. On a hot day, i can find a place like this, get a lawn chair, and just sit there for hours, just taking in the enviroment, and forgetting all my worries.

The place that I go to relax and feel at peace is out in the woods. Things are so nice, calm, relaxing, and natural.
Luckily I don't have to go far, here is the view from my back door.

I wish I had a place like that.
I guess the closest thing I have is this old beat-up movie theater near campus. Its only $3.50 for a matinee show and there are usually only about 5 people in the theater for a matinee, so it's nice and quiet and I get to be alone and watch a movie. It's nice for when I have a rough day. Last week I skipped out on a chem lab session full of busy work and saw Underworld: Evolution. It sucked, but the sheer level of violence was refreshing.

There are two places I feel at ease, high in the mountains, alone and far far away from other people and on the sea. I can take my boat on a hot summer day far out , shut down the engine, and just lay and smoke joints and chill in the sun for hours.
A picture of my homeplace with both sea and a mountain I have climbed several times in the back, but I prefer mountains less rocky than this one. Like the mountain on the next picture, here I have taken all sort of psycadelics, mushrooms, acid, dmt and so on.

the scenery in this town is awful, but at least we have one good chill spot

old railroad tracks (no longer in use...) down by some bike trails. since its so flat here you can see for quite a while.

Sleeping Bear Dunes. It's right near Traverse City Michigan (way up near Canada). You climb over one dune thinking Lake Michigan will be on the other side, but its just more dunes, for miles and miles. Beautiful. Amazing place to trip.

I agree disc golf courses are nice, Pena Adobe is the only one I know of close to where I live and its always nice to walk up a big hill and smoke some blunts and chill, the air always seems fresher at higher elevations.

What part?
Michigan has some of the best disc golf courses, and I'm lucky to be within a 15-30 minute drive of at least 8 or 9 really good ones.
