Do any of you guys know where to get a cheap webhost and domain name? I know there is godaddy.com for domain registration, but I have seen cheaper somewhere.

maybe a pub mod can move this to the science and tech forum for you. you'll get plenty of responses there. what kind of hosting do you need?

I have a cheaper solution for you.

This might not work for you unless you're on a high speed connection.

Why don't you host it from your own computer using an HTTPd such as Sambar?

That's what I use to host random files and pictures and whatnot. If you're setting up some high traffic site then I suppose that wouldn't be a good idea.

As for a domain...there are free ones @ http://www.no-ip.com
