Storing spore syringes?

I have a couple of extra spore syringes I need to keep for a while - what are the ideal conditions for storage?

I just keep mine in a sock puppet drawer.
They can last a couple years or more but are best within the first 6 months if the spores were fresh when the syringe was made.
