I have an off the wall question and was wondering if you might know the answer. On the Island of Oahu on the more moist side of the island (Hilo and Puna) there are a few varieties of ORANGE mushrooms that grow on many surfaces including decking made of plastic and wood. Do you know what type of mushrooms these might be?

Thank you for your help.

SInce Hilo and Puna are on the windward side of the Big Island of Hawaii, he cannot be on Oahu.

And if he is on Oahu, then he would be near Kanaeophe and the North Shore side of Oahu (Windward side-moist dise), which is also home to Waikiki and to Honolulu.

maybe he ate the mushrooms and has no clue where he is, given that there are 5
islands between the big one and oahu, it's the only logical answer
