So so.  It would sound good if the asshole luthier I took it to had put the bridge in the right place.

:lol:  Good question.

Seriously...to find the proper scale all you have to do is measure the frets from the 0 fret to the 12th fret.  Then you know where to put the bridge.  It isn't rocket science or anything.  Needless to say, this guy fucked up.

From now on I will do all of the work on my guitars.  I will never let anybody else touch my stuff.  I could have done a better job than this "professional".

Check out mine in my sig. Jackson Warrior with a floyd rose tremelo. That fucker is my baby. It is one hell of a bad assed guitar. I have another one buy my little bro has it right now. The res on that pic below isn't the best but I don't really want to make another one.

Nice, Jackson is probobly my favorite maker. They have a very unique sound to their instruments.

The weird thing is I had heard nothing but rave reviews about this guy's work. 

Putting the bridge in the wrong place is only one of the things he did wrong.  There are many other things he fucked up.  My grandfather made this guitar 40 years ago and I rebuilt it.  Needless to say, I was pissed when this guy went and fucked it up.

Not now. I will do my own work from now on. It saves money and I can be sure that it is done correctly.
