If ya know anything about USPS......

SITUATION:  (not with me, so dont worry :wink: )

A friend of mine in another state who is in college right now, sent a package containing 1 object (legal) and 2 pills (illegal) via mail.  He used a false return address, and a different name to the sender (sender requested).  When it got to the recievers home, he was not there.  His rents who did not know he was awaiting a package, decided to send it back to the return address.

Keep in mind the return address is COMPLETELY false and does not even exsist.

What will now happen to this package?

My friend recalls never paying with any means of trace, just simply mailing it from a local area. 

Hes paranoid, and im telling him more then likely it will turn into "undeliverable mail."  But then from here i dont know what will happen........

Any one have any idea?

If the return address was totally fake then it will simply be destroyed or auctioned off

I don't know if they opened the package or not . . . If they did your friend better know for sure that his fingerprints aren't in the system. It really depends on what the pills where. If they were just some Xanax or something pretty common, I doubt they'll run his prints. If they were xtc pills or something major, they might run his prints.

So IF they opened the package and IF your friend mailed some really illegal shit (xtc or other serious drugs) and IF the cops take the time to finger print the inside of the package and IF your friends prints are in the system THEN yeah he might need to lay low for awhile. That's a whole lot of if's and I would say that your friend doesn't need to worry too much.

They'll probabaly open the package (I seriously doubt the sell of unopened packages with fake return addresses . . . if they sold packages like that a lot of people would buy drugs by mistake and I bet they would want to prevent that). After they open the package they'll see the pills and follow whatever procedure they have. They probally call and cops and the cops have to fill out tons of paper work and nothing ever really comes of it.

I'd say don't worry. :laugh:

if it goes to undeliverable mail it will get opened. They then will try to figure out if they can get it to whoever. And if its something illegal, they turn it to the law enforcement peeps. And then if the law enforcement peeps deem it worthy enough to investigate they investigate.

Well, hope the (failed) reciever's parents house is clean as hell. If not, fix that. If he isn't even there it helps. The only issue, is obivously the parents. Might be time to get in some trouble, but it beats the other kind of trouble on the line.

Deny, deny... which might be fine if the house is clean. Was he not home because he was out, or not living there at the time. "I wasn't expecting anything, I wasn't even fucking LIVING there."

open a mail drop for all your semi/shady deeds. I never have any sent to me personally, only the mail drop which is a few cities away.
