Some skate pics from today

My girlfriend was kind enough to take some pictures of me skating today, so I thought I'd share em with you guys.  These were taken at one of my favorite places on the planet, a skatepark 10 mins from home that I frequent almost daily.  Its really fun to have a cup of coffee and some cannabis, and just fly around those ramps as fast as you can go.  Few things in my life are funner than that :smile:

Glendale, CA.  Its such a great place--friendly vibe, big vert/tranny stuff, fast lines, and ridiculously uncrowded 90 percent of the time.  Everytime I go to any other park, I end up wishing I was at Glendale :smile:

Rawk on man, its good to see people actually wearing saftey gear while skating. You don't see too much of that around Florida.

you're lucky man i've got winter to deal with i've got to go to indoor parks during the winter and skate whatever i can when there is no snow. must be nice to live in Cali

Its required  :tongue:  Actually though I've been wearing my helmet a lot at parks that dont require pads, its definitely worth it.  I can't afford to get hurt--I depend on sports like skating, skiing, surfing etc. to keep me sane and happy~

Glendale is 15 minutes north of downtown LA.  I'm actually moving up to the bay area in a year and a half.... heard of any good parks up there? :grin:

That's great man.

I don't know why people don't wear the gear in the first place. It might be uncomfortable or make you look "uncool" but the next time you fall and slam your head on the ground, you'll think twice about not wearing a helmet...if you can think, that is. :smile:

i know how that goes i've bounced my head off the ground like a fucking basketball all i could see was black for like 30 secs and was dizzy for like 10 mins kept skating tho after the black went away of course

that looks like a deamland skatepark,those guys are amazing...


i picked up a stick for the first time in about 8 years a few weeks ago,,...damn that was rough,hahah,but i had a great time...

jsut like the old days,up at the crack of dawn at a little conrete patch of heaven...

Thats so scary... I hit my head in the pool a couple months ago--I was grinding the shallow end and my trucks popped up off the coping.  I did a front flip into the pool and landed directly on my helmet.  If I wasn't wearing it I could have had real problems!  I had the blanking out thing that time too.  Its weird, huh?  Its like your brain gets rebooted, takes a few seconds to figure out who/where you are and wtf just happened :lol:

yea it was all i did was grab my head with both hands and sat there squeezing me head with my hands hard hoping i didn't just blind myself or cause serious damage to my brain but once i could see again i figured i was okay, at least enough to skate some more and i definitely wasn't going for that trick again at least for the rest of the time i was there i just went over to the mini ramp because i knew i wouldn't fall on that shit.
