The Fugitive: My day so far

So today I woke up early to go in somewhere I applied to take a test thing. I took it, they gave me the score and then did and interview right there. It's basically the same shit I do now so I got hired right there. This kicks major ass since i need a second job.

So after that I leave and go to smoke a victory bowl. I soon discover two things: I am a dumbass, and my bowl is broken. Last week I used a mini screwdriver to unclog the bowl. I stuck it in the hole in the bottom and tried to scrap resin out. In the process I broke a large section out of the actual bowl part. I can probably just buy a screen and continue using it, which is what I'll eventually do.

But then I decided that since I've been wanting a chillum again for so long I can just use this as an excuse to cruise down to my favorite headshop(s) and pick a new one up. I say headshop(s) because they are directly next to each other and both kick major ass. And even if you can't find a piece you like for your price range in the first one there is always the second.

So I make my way to a parking lot by the shop. I always go here cause it's a short walk. The way I usually walk was blocked because of construction so I had to walk a short distance around the fences this time. As I got out of my car in the lot and near the fence I heard a lot of sirens, then I kept walking a little and heard a huge screech, then deafening crunching and metal-on-metal echoing from the buildings around it, then more screeching tires. So as I'm hearing all this I continue walking and come a cross walk. It said stop but there weren't any cars coming so I jogged across.

I'd like to mention now that I didn't know where the hell all that previous noise came from. I quickly found out that it was a fucking high speed police chase as the dude blew past right after I got out of the cross walk. He blew out his front driver side tire and there were 3 cops on his ass. As I made my way further to the shop I saw he nailed this young chick's car and totaled it. It was fucking crazy!

If you ever see a black dude running in a green suburban on some cop chase show in the next few years and you see some little white guy running out of a cross walk, that was me. And that was where I pissed my pants. Not actually pissed my pants, but mentally....... Ok, I peed a little bit.

So I bought my new chillum, which kicks ass. I have now named him The Fugitive.

Damn! That's an intense story. I've never been that close to a high speed chase. Did you even see the car coming?

It was a curved street in a downtown area and there's cars parked on each side. I saw it when I was just getting onto the sidewalk on the other side of the crosswalk. Got the blood pumping, thats for sure.

Kinda bummed me out that I couldn't see the whole chase, like on TV. I don't know how it started, or how it ended. All I heard and saw was maybe a 15 second span at the most.
